Crofton have over 20 years of experience offering MEP design consultancy services, working with clients across a range of sectors.

We have seen many changes over the years with continuously reducing energy consumption targets and reducing carbon emissions, as well as improvements in the available design modelling and collaborative working tools.  We ensure our teams are at the forefront of these changes to deliver the best solutions for your project.

Our wide experience includes all major industry sectors, for example, Private Residential, Commercial Multi-Unit Residential, Health Care Clinics and Hospitals, Schools, Universities, Research and Laboratories, Heritage, Factory and Process, Leisure, Museums, Archive facilities, Sports facilities, Swimming Pools and Gyms, Car Parks, Libraries.

We also deal with infrastructure utility services, including heat networks from single buildings to complex multi occupancy developments.

We offer design for all the service elements to be encountered across these sectors and provide a full service throughout the design procurement and construction procurement process from RIBA Stage 0 through to RIBA Stage 7.

Our skill and experience in the application of the latest technology is applied throughout our design process and we are experts in the application of low and zero carbon solutions, for example, one of the largest solar thermal farms in Europe through to recently completing the design for the first Active House project in the UK.

We undertake an early assessment of design compliance in meeting building regulations, planning requirements, and standards such as BB101, HTMs, and BREEAM.  This includes assessment of carbon emissions, energy loads and ventilation strategies using IES Dynamic Virtual Environment software.  We undertake lighting design, ensuring lighting compliance both internally and externally.

Our designs are undertaken in Revit BIM (Building Information Modelling) environment to deliver MEP solutions that are closely coordinated multi- service schemes and coordinated into the building and structure which they serve.

Our processes are accredited under ISO 19650 and ensure a carefully planned and delivered project meeting your needs, budget and deadlines.
